Proverbs 10:12 says Love covers all sins. I wondered how can love cover all sin? What does love even have to do with sin?..better yet, how could it cover them? I then began to look at Jesus. His love for us allow the blood that was shed on our behalf to wash us clean. We are covered under the blood of Jesus; which means when we go to approach God He no longer see our sinful state, but He see the blood of Christ that was shed on calvary. It was love that caused Jesus to hang on that cross and die; therefore, it’s because of love that I am able to even speak of my sins being taken away. I am not a part of the family of Christ. I now have the things that Christ has…all because of love.

In 1Corinthians 13 it speaks of love throughout that whole chapter. I learn there that If I don’t have love everything that I do would mean nothing. Great and honorable things can be done by me, but without love it’s worthless; for you see God is love. The bible tells us in Galatians 5 that love would allow us to serve one another. The whole law is fulfilled in one word…”Love.” Love our neighbor as ourself and we have fullfilled or is fulfilling all of the law. 1 Thessalonians 4:9-10 says God is able to teach us how to love one another. We must strive to continuously grow in love for others. 1 Peter 4:8 says Above ALL things to have fervent love for one another. Another word for “fervent” is “intense”. When someone wrongs you the fervent love you have will look over it, or forgive them, which is “covering their sin.”

I desire to love the way that the bible says. I don’t always make the mark, but I am striving with everything in me. May God bless the reader as well as myself to love just as He love. Blessings.
